1960s Costume Ideas

Hippies had loads of fun once upon a time, so you ought to as well! Spruce up in a 1960’s outfit and you’ll look as in vogue as any sixty’s hippies!

Pink Suit

Standout in your costume with a men’s pink suit with flower print and paisleys. Make sure your suit blazer and slacks are in tune. Wear black shoes or Hippie sandals and a hippie headband with rainbow design to complete the look.

Groovy Chick

Wear a printed dress with matching printed hat. A print that has flowers or peace signs or letters that spell out the word LOVE would do. Match this with sunglasses round or square ones would do. A colourful knee sock or tights and some white Gogo boots.

Vintage Hippy

Another look to pull off is the vintage hippy look. To rock this look you would need a halter top with matching sleeves and it would be nice if the prints are in bold colours and with peace signs or flowers so it would be in lined with the sixties theme. Match it flared pants and a bold colourful headband as your accessory. Finish the look off by wearing bold coloured heels, yellow or red would be nice.
